Payment gateway - Deposits for accommodation reservation

If you already have your accommodation in a catalog, you're probably thinking:
“That's fine, but I'll definitely pay the 15 percent or more booking fee as usual.“
NO, you won't. We want to do it differently 😉

You only pay

0.97% commission from the reservation completed from the online reservation system with a deposit paid by the payment gateway (or 1.1% Start rate for average monthly transactions less than €900)

1.5 % * +€0.25 of the deposit amount to the payment gateway operator (*example for the payment gateway Stripe, exact price list here)

*) Note: The sample example is calculated for the Stripe payment gateway and the rate valid on 03/2023, may differ depending on your contract and the payment gateway operator.

**) The default rate is Start. After exceeding the average monthly transactions over the limit, it is possible to request a Trevlix Standard rate.

***) Note: It is possible to request the Active rate after 5 paid payments for advance invoices when actively using online payments in the Documents module (the condition is that at least 50% of the advance invoices for accommodation surcharges have been paid through the payment gateway during the entire period of using the payment gateway service)

Yes, that depends solely on you and your terms and conditions. All you have to do is set up a 100% deposit at Trevlix.
Or you can request the full amount, for example, only on the most attractive terms.

For the global market, we currently offer compatibility with the Stripe payment gateway.

We have support for additional payment gateways for the national market, which is listed on the respective national variants of the Trevlix website.

Once you have created a Stripe account and created developer access with us, we will get your payment gateway up and running within 1 business day.

Yes, to activate payments with payment cards, it is necessary to comply with legal requirements, for example, the identification of the hosting operator on the website or the publication of commercial and cancellation conditions on the website.

What should I do in Trevlix to activate Payment Gateway - Deposits for accommodation reservation?

• Activate yout Rates module and enter accommodation prices
• active module Payment Gateway and set at least the default upfront deposit

It's not a problem. You can refund (return to the payer) the payment on your payment gateway portal. In this case, of course, you do not pay the commission for the canceled reservation.

Reservations will be proceeded in the same way as before the activation of the payment gateway. The only difference is that after submitting the reservation, the guest will see a button to pay the deposit to reserve accommodation. The link to pay the deposit through the payment gateway will also be sent to the guest via email in the booking summary.

How you handle reservations where the guest does not pay a deposit is up to you 😏  Of course, you can, as before, allow, for example, the use of a coupon or allow trusted friends to book through the website without paying a deposit.

And of course you don't pay anything to anyone for web bookings without a deposit paid through the payment gateway 🆓

• In Trevlix, click the Activate button under Settings - "Payment Gateway - Advance deposits for accommodation reservations".
• Create a Stripe payment gateway account and contact us.
